The Illinois High School Association Softball State Series has begun, with Classes 1A and 2A starting play this week and Teams 3A and 4A starting postseason play next week.
The season concludes with the 1A and 2A State Finals June 3-4 in Peoria and the 3A and 4A Championships June 10-11 in Peoria.
