2022 NCAA Softball Tournament: Full Regional League, Road to Women’s College World Series TV Schedule

The flowers are in full bloom, the temperatures are rising and school is drawing to a close. That can only mean one thing: The 2022 Women’s College World Series is just around the corner.

Last year’s NCAA Division I softball championship winner Oklahoma looks poised for another deep run in the tournament. The Sooners enter NCAA play 49-2 and earn the No. 1 seed overall in this year’s bracket. Led by trio sophomore Tiare Jennings and seniors Grace Lyons and Jocelyn Alo – the latter the all-time NCAA home run leader – Oklahoma must be considered a tournament favorite.

But there’s a lot of talent in the college softball landscape. The 64 teams that make up the tournament field are hoping to make their way at the Diamond and take the next step on the road to Oklahoma City, the Super Regionals, taking place May 26-29.

Take a look at all the information you need to watch college softball postseason:

NCAA Softball Tournament Bracket 2022

Each team is placed in a mini bracket with three other schools. The top seed in each bracket houses the number 4, while the number 2 in each bracket collides with the number 3. The teams play at least two games

Teams play at least two games before being sent home. Meanwhile, a team needs three wins to advance from the regional stage to the superregionales. That’s where the dream of college softball stardom becomes more tangible, with the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City just a step away.
