ABBA The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA brings one of the biggest pop phenomena in music history back to life and returns to the Cobb Energy Center on Friday for the fourth time.

ABBA The Concert will perform ABBA’s legendary hits including “Mamma Mia”, “SOS”, “Money, Money, Money”, “The Winner Takes All”, “Waterloo”, “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” and “Dancing Queen” . “

Tim Allen

Comedian Tim Allen will perform at the Cobb Energy Center for a stand-up show on Saturday.

Allen is best known for the hit TV series Home Improvement, for which he received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy nomination for eight consecutive years, and won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series. Allen is also known for films such as Toy Story, The Santa Claus, and Galaxy Quest, and has written two best-selling books.

Cobb International Film Festival

Film buffs will be happy to know that the Cobb International Film Festival begins Thursday and runs through Sunday at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theater in Marietta Square.

The festival is a collaboration between Long Shot Productions, Cobb Travel & Tourism and The Strand Theatre. The festival provides a platform for filmmakers to present their work and discuss themes featured in the film and the filmmaking process in order to stimulate and create dialogue between people. The festival accepts feature films, short films and documentaries of all lengths from filmmakers of all levels.

Concert series on the first Friday in Kennesaw

Those looking for some good outdoor music this weekend can attend the First Friday Concert Series in downtown Kennesaw this Friday from 7-9 p.m. Outside The Perimeter Band will take the stage for musical entertainment.

The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association invite the community to stroll through historic downtown for an evening of shopping, dining and live music. The concert will take place in the pedestrian underpass/Tunnel Plaza on Main Street.

Georgia bride show

Brides-to-be and their bridal party should catch Sunday’s Georgia Bridal Show at the Cobb Galleria Center. The event runs from 12:00pm to 3:30pm with a fashion show at 2:30pm

This one-stop shopping event brings together all the wedding professionals brides need to create their one-of-a-kind day. Visitors can meet photographers, sample delicious cakes and dinners, listen to a variety of musical entertainment to dance the night away and of course find the perfect dress or tuxedo for the big day.
