Valorant Esports enthusiasts from across South Asia have an exciting esports month ahead of them. The Skyesports Pro Invitational will see the region’s best teams come together for exciting matchups.
In just a few years, Skyesports has grown into one of the most popular esports organizations in India. They are known for hosting major tournaments such as Skyesports Championship, Skyesports League and Skyesports GrandSlam which have garnered large numbers of fans across the country. They have also reached 12 million players and 300 million viewership.
The AMD Skyesports Pro Invitational tournament is now a B-Tier tournament, being held for the second time ever. The total prize pool is now more than double the Season 1 prize pool. It will be an online event with a total prize pool of INR 700,000 or USD 8,853. Here are all the details of the Skyesports Pro Invitational event.
All Valorant teams invited to Skyesports Pro Invitational Season 2 and other details
The Valorant tournament is scheduled to start on August 18 and end ten days later on August 28, 2022. Twelve of the best South Asian teams will take part in this invitational tournament.
The group stage consists of four groups of three teams each. All group stage matches will be played as best-of-three matches. The top two teams advance to the playoff stage.
The playoffs will feature a double-elimination category, and all games in this stage will be best-of-three except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five match.

These 12 Valorant teams are ready to put up a great fight to win the championship in Season 2 of the tournament. The tournament consists mainly of players from India, who make up 91% of the participants.
The other countries that the players represent are Malaysia, Philippines and Pakistan. All foreign players are from Team Orangutan, with an international share of 9% in this tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to start on August 18th and end on August 28th.

The top four teams in each group qualify for the playoffs, which are played in a double-elimination round. The winner will emerge as the AMD Skyesports Pro Invitational Tournament Champion.
The total prize pool is INR 700,000 (≃ USD 8,853), which will be split among the top four finishers of the Valorant tournament, with most of it going to the winners.
The tournament will be televised with English, Hindi and Punjabi commentary providing a great viewing experience for all fans.
