Viewers have already said goodbye or are about to say goodbye to most of CBS’ primetime casts for this season, but good news, we already know what the network’s fall 2022 television schedule will be like. CBS has announced its upcoming fall lineup and it will be a mix of returning favorites as well as a handful of new shows for viewers to check out.
CBS unveiled its full schedule of returning and new shows for its 2022-2023 TV season, which begins in the fall. CBS staples like NCIS, Young Sheldon and The amazing race are all set to return for brand new seasons, as well as shows that debuted as part of the 2021-2022 TV season, including ghostsannounces CBS as its top-rated new series/comedy, and NCIS: Hawaiithe #1 new drama, per CBS.
Part of the new CBS lineup will actually couple two of the network’s hit comedies, eh ghosts will switch to a new time at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, immediately thereafter Young Sheldon at 8 p.m. ET/PT, referred to as the “Comedy Power Hour.”
Some other new plans are doing Wednesday nights in the fall all reality tv shows with new seasons of survivor and The amazing race at 8 and 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the new reality series The real love boatwhich brings singles together on a sitcom-inspired cruise The love boat.
There are three other new shows coming to CBS this fall: So help me Todd, fire land and East New York.
So help me Todd is a new drama starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin in which Harden plays a meticulous attorney who hires her aimless son (Astin) as her law firm’s internal investigator. So help me Todd airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
fire land focuses on an unconventional prison parole program where inmates seek redemption and reduced sentences by joining a firefighting program where they work with elite firefighters to put out massive wildfires in the Northern California area. former Marine Special Forces Star Max Thieriot is on board as the star fire landwhich has landed a Friday 9 p.m. ET/PT slot, a previously occupied by those who were cancelled MagnumPI.
East New York sees the producers of NYPD blue tells the story of Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood (Amanda Warren), the new boss of the 74th Precinct in East New York, who finds herself in the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification. East New York airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
CBS announced another new show to its roster for the 2022-2023 season, True Lies. Inspired by the Arnold Schwarzenegger/James Cameron film of the same name True Lies will premiere on CBS during the midseason.
