Conan Gray is ready for another emotional big singalong. This is what the singer and songwriter announced super pain Tour in support of his upcoming second studio album – out June 24th via Republic Records – with stops in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
That super pain The tour kicks off this fall with an opening show at the Louisville Palace Theater in Louisville, Kentucky on September 16th. Gray will extend the trip with stops in Atlanta, Orlando, Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and more.
The North American leg of the super pain The tour concludes on October 25th with a show at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gray will compete again on November 13 at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. He will also perform in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Tickets for the super pain The tour is available starting Friday, June 24 at 10:00 am local time for North America and Friday, June 24 at 9:00 am local time for Australia. The New Zealand show goes on sale Monday 27 June at 9am local time. Tickets can be purchased through the official Conan Gray website.
super pain appears as the long-awaited follow-up to Gray’s acclaimed debut album child Krow, released in 2020. The record spawned the hit singles “Heather,” “Maniac,” and “Wish You Were Sober.” super pain contains the previously released singles “people watching‘, ‘astronomy’, ‘puzzle‘ and the newly shared ‘Yours’.
The record was created with close collaborator Dan Nigro, who also helmed Olivia Rodrigo’s record-breaking debut album Angry. Gray and Nigro have been locked up since they worked on it child Krowwho set a standard for Gen Z emotional outpourings through candid songwriting and acute vulnerability.
“A super pain is something that hurts you so much that it stays with you for years to come,” Gray said Rolling Stone of the record. “It’s something that can only be healed through years of dramatic grief, self-sabotage, songwriting, crying to your friends. It’s a super pain.”
