Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess Announces Solo Tour In Summer 2022

Virtuoso composer and Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess will be touring solo this summer, with dates from early June through early August. The tour kicks off June 7th at the Triple Door in Seattle.

The tour, titled A Night With Jordan Rudess, marks the first time the keyboard legend has made 22 stops in over a dozen states.

Each show will be in a format that is part concert, part seminar. In addition to playing Dream Theater medleys, Rudess, whose last solo release came last year, also played Rockestra, will also share with the audience the different technologies he uses to create music, such as B.GeoShred. The goal of this format is to share his process of composing and performing through the lens of his exploration of music technology.

Rudess will also be playing guitar live for the first time.

The Dream Theater material he will perform will be part of what Rudess calls “Bach to Rock,” which tells the story of his journey from a classical background as a young prodigy at the Juilliard School of Music to a career as a rock Keyboard icon tells. Bach to Rock will be performed in the new locations listed below.

At other stops, he will instead perform “A Road Home,” a collection of solo piano covers and original material recently composed.

Below is a list of all tour dates. Visit here for ticket information and further clarity on which set to expect at each stop.
