Here’s how to watch Glastonbury 2022 at home and across the TV schedule

Glastonbury 2022 features some of the world’s best acts in front of around 200,000 local music fans – with many more watching on TV.

Thousands of lucky people will travel to Worthy Farm in Somerset next week to see their favorite artists sing live at Britain’s biggest music festival of the year.

But if you can’t make it due to rail strikes or weren’t lucky enough to secure a ticket this year, how and when can you see Glastonbury at home?

Here’s everything you need to know so you don’t miss out on any of the action.

Here’s how to watch Glastonbury 2022 at home

Sets from big acts will be streamed live on BBC iPlayer, with the BBC having set up a dedicated channel for the festival, which kicks off on Thursday.

The channel will feature the biggest sets from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, John Peel and Park stages.

If you can’t watch, don’t worry, the BBC has got you covered with a dedicated section in their BBC Sounds app as well All day Glastonbury playing on 6 music starting Wednesday. There will also be extensive coverage on Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra and Radio 2.

Lorna Clarke, BBC Music Director, said: “I am very proud of the BBC’s long tradition of broadcasting from Glastonbury, the culmination of our Summer of Live Music.

“Our coverage this year will be our most extensive yet, with over 35 hours of programming on BBC One, Two, Three and Four and over 40 hours on BBC iPlayer – in addition to live digital streams from the five biggest festival stages.

“We will also have widespread coverage of the BBC’s pop radio stations and BBC Sounds – with over 60 hours of broadcasts from the festival itself.

“For the first time we are showing sets from the Pyramid stage in Ultra High Definition, a fantastic advancement in our Glastonbury story that aims to give audiences access to every epic musical moment.”

BBC Two

at 22 O `clockLauren Laverne and Jack Saunders present a welcome show live from Worthy Farm with a preview of what’s to come over the weekend.

fFriday June 24th

BBC Two

Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne and Clara Amfo present the headlines of 21 clockwhich includes Billie Eilish, Alison Krauss, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice and TLC.

BBC Three

Award-winning rapper and songwriter Little Simz’s Glastonbury set airs 10:30 p.mfollowed by highlights from Sam Fender’s Pyramid Stage performance and Blossoms’ Other Stage show.

The channel starts TV coverage of the BBC from 8 p.mwhich features highlights from Friday’s shows throughout the day, followed by a special performance by Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Arlo Parks and Idles.

Saturday June 25th

BBC One

Olivia Rodrigo’s set on the Other Stage airs 19 o’clockfollowed by Sir Paul McCartney’s headline performance of 10:30 p.m presented by Jo Whiley.

BBC Two

The main presenters of the festival will return from 17 o’clock to show the afternoon performances of Joy Crookes, Self Esteem and Skunk Anansie, followed by Haim, Leon Bridgers and a late night set of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds 21 clock.

Out of 12.30 p.mThe channel features highlights from Saturday’s performances, including Jessie Ware, Jamie T and Róisín Murphy.

BBC Three

Clara Amfo and Jack Saunders will present performances by Holly Humberstone and Glass Animals 8 p.mfollowed by sets from AJ Tracey, Pa Salieu, Yungblud and Burna Boy.

Megan Thee Stallion will take viewers with her 11:30 p.m with their appearance in the early Sunday morning.

Brit Award winner Celestes’ performance on the West Holts Stage will be broadcast 19 o’clock.

Sunday June 26th

BBC One

Lauren Laverne and Clara Amfo will present Diana Ross’ performance during the slot of the famous Glastonbury Teatime legend 6.45 p.m.

BBC Two

Out of 17 o’clockLianne La Havas, Herbie Hancock, Fontaines DC and Nubya Garcia will perform, followed by Lorde, Years & Years and Elbow.

Kenrick Lamar’s headline appearance begins at 9:30 p.mfollowed by highlights from Charli XCX, Bicep and Courtney Barnett.

Out of 23 o’clockHighlights from across the festival will play into the wee hours including a recap of Diana Ross’ earlier performance and sets by Sir Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Years & Years and Little Simz.

BBC Three

Declan McKenna and Koffee’s performances will be aired 19 o’clock.

Angélique Kidjo and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker (aka JARV IS) will perform 21 clockfollowed by a headlining performance by the Pet Shop Boys on the Other Stage.

Who will present Glastonbury 2022?

A host of big names will be rotating this year, but Radio 1 DJs Clara Amfo and Lauren Laverne are expected to present the main headline performances on BBC One and Two.

Fellow BBC Jack Saunders will also host shows on BBC Three, as well as appearances from Cerys Matthews, Dermot O’Leary, Jo Whiley, Vick Hope and Zoe Ball.
