As much as we love or hate email, there’s no denying it – email is a necessity for both work and personal life. It’s the best way to reach out to a colleague or long-lost family or friends. And our iPhones have a built-in mail app that allows us to communicate with others around the world.

In iOS 16, the Mail app gets some significant improvements that bring it in line with some of the best third-party email apps. The new features allow us to schedule emails, undo an email that has been sent, and even reschedule an email for a later time when we can reply more conveniently. You can take advantage of these cool new features if you have iOS 16 on your iPhone or iPad.

Here’s how to schedule and undo sending an email in the Mail app in iOS 16.

Apple occasionally offers updates for iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas. While the betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that can prevent normal use of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV or Mac and are not intended for everyday use on a primary device. Because of this, we strongly recommend staying away from developer previews unless you need them for software development, and using the public betas with caution. If you depend on your devices, wait for the final release.
