JUNE 23 – GORDITA CHRONICLES *Series Premiere*

  • The new HBO Max original comedy series GORDITA CHRONICLE debuts its entire 10-episode first season Thursday, 23.6. The year is 1985 and Cucu “Gordita” Castelli (Olivia Goncalves) has just said goodbye to all her friends and family in Santo Domingo and is with her marketing manager father Víctor (Juan Javier Cardenas) and her brave and feisty mother Adela moved to Miami (Diana Maria Riva) and suddenly status-obsessed older sister Emilia (Savannah Nicole Ruiz). While life in America is far from what they imagined, the Castellis are determined to take charge of their strange new world. A uniquely funny coming-of-age comedy GORDITA CHRONICLE is about family, opportunity, love, resilience and boldly challenging the status quo in pursuit of the “American Dream”. Eva Longoria is directing the pilot and serving as Executive Producer for UnbeliEVable Entertainment. Josh Berman is executive producing along with Jennifer Robinson and Chris King of Osprey Productions. Showrunner Brigitte Munoz-Liebowitz is Executive Producer for Bons Mots Emporium. Zoe Saldana, Mariel Saldana and Cisely Saldana are executive producers for Cinestar Pictures.

JUNE 24 – THE CHI *Season 5 Premiere*

  • In Season 5 of SHOWTIME’s drama series THE CHIby Emmi® Winner Lena Waithe and Academy Award® and Emmy-winning Common, Black Love takes center stage. Emmett and Tiff take a new path in their relationship, while Tiff grows closer to Rob. Meanwhile, Kevin finds love where he least expects it, while Jake and Jemma navigate life as a couple. With his boys in relationships, dad finds himself a bit outside looking in, but still knows how to get himself into trouble. Kiesha takes care of baby Ronnie while Nina and Dre work together to support Lynae. Jada evaluates her life after cancer, and Trig considers a political run, even as Douda plots a comeback. The six-episode season begins Friday June 24thwith subsequent episode streaming Fridays.

JUNE 24TH – THE DEANNE SMITH EXPERIENCE *Crave Original Stand-Up Special*

  • Crave’s new line of original stand-up specials continues to roll out THE DEANNE SMITH EXPERIENCE. Filmed in front of a live audience during the 2021 Just For Laughs Festival in Montréal and with five ex-boyfriends in the audience, DeAnne Smith talks dating, breakups, 4,000 unread emails and confronts her relationship story head-on.

JUNE 24 – DRIVE MY CAR *film premiere*

  • Winner of Best International Film at the 94th OSCARS®, DRIVE MY CAR is an introspective Japanese drama co-written and directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Two years after the unexpected death of his wife, Yusuke Kafuku (Hidetoshi Nishijima), a well-known stage actor and director, receives an offer to direct a production by Uncle Vanya at a theater festival in Hiroshima. There he meets Misaki Watari (Toko Miura), a taciturn young woman hired by the festival to chauffeur him. As the production’s premiere nears, tensions between the cast and crew mount, not least between Yusuke and Koji Takatsuki, a handsome TV star who shares an unwanted connection with Yusuke’s late wife. The film had its world premiere at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival where it competed for the Palme d’Or and won three awards including Best Screenplay. The movie is running Friday June 24th.

JUNE 24 – THE FRENCH SHIPPING *film premiere*

  • Dubbed Wes Anderson’s “best film yet” by The New Yorker, THE FRENCH SHIPPING lives in the French Ennui-sur-Blasé in the 1960s and works as a journalist for the American magazine The French Dispatch. Curmudgeonly editor Arthur Howitzer Jr. (Bill Murray) runs the magazine, which covers “world politics, the arts high and low, and various human-interest stories.” Friday June 24thincludes the full ensemble cast Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet and more.

JUNE 24 – SING 2 *film premiere*

  • A new chapter in the Illumination animated franchise begins with big dreams and spectacular hits as the ever-optimistic Koala Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) and his all-star cast prepare to embark on their most dazzling on-stage extravaganza yet in glitzy entertainment start capital of the world. JUNE 25 – DRAG RACE FRANCE *Series premiere*

  • Hosted by Nicky Doll, star of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE Season 12, 10 wild French queens join actress Daphné Bürki and DJ Kiddy Smile in battle for the title of France’s first drag superstar DRAG RACE FRANCEpremiere Saturday, June 25 at 3pm ET in French and English. DRAG RACE FRANCE follows a weekly release schedule with new episodes Saturdays at 3 p.m. ET.

JUNE 26 – HBO’s WESTWORLD *Season 4 Premiere*

  • HBO’s Emmy-winning drama series WEST WORLD returns for its eight-episode fourth season, Sunday, June 26 at 9pm ET. The hour-long drama is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new life form on Earth. season 3 brought the AI ​​uprising from the robotic theme parks to the real world, where the android Dolores found herself in the crosshairs of Rehoboam, the world’s most advanced AI, secretly on the spot to carefully manipulate and predict the future to bring order to… to bring the human affairs . JUNE 28 – HBO’s ENDANGERED *Documentary Premiere*

  • Executive Produced by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow and an Official Selection of the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, the HBO Original Documentary AT RISK premieres Tuesday June 28th at 9 p.m. ET. AT RISK chronicles a year in the life of four journalists living and working in democratic countries where freedom of the press has historically been a ‘given’. But as online misinformation rises and world leaders brazenly denigrate the press, distrust of traditional media grows and journalists are increasingly confronted with situations more likely to be found in war zones or autocratic states.
