Juventus could return after the end of the exclusive license deal

Football Manager 2023 is upon us, and fans will once again have a chance to sit in the manager’s hot seat.

With a plethora of licensing deals constantly challenging the landscape in the football game, we have the latest on Juventus’ potential return to FM23.

Juve set for FM return?

Konami has announced that the exclusive licensing deal between Juventus and eFootball is coming to an end, allowing the Italian giant to be officially licensed for other games.

Of course, many have been focused on Juve’s return to FIFA 23, but Football Manager fans will be just as excited to see this exclusive deal come to an end.

Juventus – one of Italy’s biggest sides – has not featured in Football Manager in its traditional form for many years, instead appearing under the Zebre name.

Unlicensed teams are the foundation of everyone’s gaming experience, especially in a game like FM where immersion and realism are the name of the game.

End of Zebre – Juventus could return in FM23

Luckily, the end of Juventus’ exclusive deal with eFootball could pave the way for Italy’s old lady to return in Football Manager 2023.

The Serie A licensing deal is also expiring with Serie A, meaning official badges and aesthetics could return in FM23 as well.

There’s nothing wrong with Juve or Serie A not making exclusive deals with EA Sports, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Football Manager 2023 gets a well-deserved slice of the licensing pie.
