Major League Football (MLFB) announces Mobile as the final host city and game schedule for 2022

Port City joins Canton, Little Rock and Virginia Beach to form MLFB’s Core Four

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL / ACCESSWIRE / June 23, 2022 / Major League Football (OTC PINK:MLFB) – Major League Football was announced today Mobile, Alabama as the fourth and final hometown for its inaugural season, beginning August 9th.

Previously Announced Mobile Joins Canton, Ohio, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Virginia Beach, Virginia how “Core Four” of the MLFB – four football-loving cities that support the MLFB’s vision of exciting football within a sustainable business model.

The team at Mobile will be known as that Alabama in the air and its home games are played Ladd Peebles Stadium. Arkansas attack Home games are played historically War Memorial Stadium. Virginia Armada Home games are coming up Virginia Beach Sportsplex while Ohio force Fans can cheer for their team Canton Hall of Fame Bowl.

“I am pleased to announce Mobile today as the fourth host city of the MLFB,” he said MLFB Managing Director Frank Murtha. “Mobile joins Canton, Little Rock and Virginia Beach as our”core four.”These four incredibly supportive markets not only provide an excellent base for this season, but also a solid foundation for spring 2023 as we begin our quest to become America’s home of spring professional football.”

“While each community is unique, Mobile, Little Rock, Canton and Virginia Beach all had what we believed to be the essential ingredients for success — a history of football support, strong demographics and appropriate facilities,” Murtha said. “With the addition of Mobile to our league roster, we firmly believe we have found ‘core’ and are positioned for growth this season and beyond.”

Mobile officials issued statements of welcome and support for the MLFB’s decision to create a team in their city.

Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson commented“We are excited to be one of only four cities nationwide to host an MLFB team for summer training camps and games. Not only will these events have a significant economic impact, I know that the hundreds of visitors who travel with MLFB will enjoy all that Mobile has to offer. The MLFB has chosen the right place for the start of the summer season. As you will soon see, we were born to party.”

Connie Hudson, President of the Mobile County Commission greeted MLFB, saying, “On behalf of the Mobile County Commission, I am pleased to welcome Major League Football to our beautiful Mobile County, Alabama. We hope you have a wonderful experience and enjoy your stay in Mobile as you prepare for the seasons this fall and next spring. Best wishes also for your forthcoming schedule!”

Finally, Danny Corte, Managing Director of the Mobile Sports Authority added, “On behalf of the Mobile Sports Authority, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the teams and staff of Major League Football to Mobile, Alabama for their first training camp and season of competition. MLFB had previously announced Terry Shea, Ernst Wilson, Jerry Glanville, and Bill Conley asHead Coaches for its inaugural season.

Together, these veteran coaches have over 150 years of coaching experience at all levels of football. Each has expressed a passion for helping young men grow personally and professionally.

Coach Jerry Glanvilleone of the most charismatic men in professional football, will serve as Head Football Coach for the MLFB Alabama in the air. Coach Glanville’s teams are known for their defensive tenacity and he has coached several All-Pro players and developed hungry defenders at all levels of football. Coach Glanville has held numerous collegiate and professional coaching positions, including head coach of the Houston Oilers from 1986-1990 and the Atlanta Falcons from 1990-1993.

fans of the Arkansas attack will be delighted with Head Coach Ernest Wilsons Affinity for a wide open offense. Coach Wilson was an early adopter of the popular “Air Raid” offense and has worked with championship coaches such as Tony Dungy, Dennis Green and others. Wilson served as an offensive coordinator at Jackson State and Hampton College and as a head coach at Elizabeth City State.

head coach terry shea, A widely respected offensive “guru” with more than 50 years of coaching experience will take the lead Virginia Armada. Shea served as a head coach at San Jose State and was offensive coordinator for the legendary Bill Walsh at Stanford. After many years in the NFL with the Chiefs, Bears, Dolphins and Rams, Coach Shea has returned to help young players develop with MLFB.

Legendary coach from Ohio Bill Conley was appointed head coach Ohio force. After a successful playing career at Ohio State, Conley began his coaching career in Ohio high school football before returning to his alma mater as a recruiting coordinator under John Cooper and Jim Tressel. A longtime assistant coach at Ohio State, Conley also enjoyed a long and successful tenure as head coach of the Ohio Dominican Division II.
