Day 1 of the 2022 PMWI Main Event concluded yesterday as 18 teams competed to claim the massive $2 million prize pool.

Fans can follow the PUBG Mobile World Invitational Main Tournament 2022 on the PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels. The Day 2 Main Tournament will go live at 14:00 Riyadh local time and the PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown will go live between August 18th and 20th at 14:00 Riyadh local time.

As Day 1 ended yesterday, Vampire Esports led the standings with a total of 86 points, followed by Stalwart Esports with 83 and Falcon Esports in third place with 74 points. While Action of Stalwart Esports was the best fragger on Day 1.

A total of six games were played on Day 1.

1) Angle – The opening game of the PMWI was played on the Erangle map, where Vampire Esports completely dominated their opponents and secured a massive chicken dinner with 24 kills. While second place was conquered by BOX Gaming with just 2 kills.

2) Miramar – The next game was moved to the huge map of Miramar, where TJB EU emerged victorious with a total of 12 kills. Second and third places went to Team Falcons and Stalwart Esports. While the winners of the first game Vampire Esports scored 13 points.

3) Sanhok – The third game of the day moved to the fast-paced Sanhok map, where Team Morph managed to secure the Chicken Dinner with seven kills. It was a brilliant show from Vivo Keyd as they secured 20 points while Stalwart Esports once again showed their consistency by finishing third in the game.

4) Angle – In the fourth game, it was an intense battle in the last circle of the Pochinki area. Donuts USG secured the win with 6 kills, but Vampire Esports topped the leaderboard with an impressive 13 kills.

5) Miramar – Falcon Esports won the chicken dinner in game five of the day. Falcon Esports secured their first chicken with an impressive 15 kills. We were able to finish the Pakistani team 52 Esports in second place with a total of 9 kills.

6) Angle – After consistent performances from Stalwart Esports, they finally managed to secure the chicken dinner in the final game of the day. Stalwart Esports secured first place with 15 kills, followed by Nigma Galaxy in second place with 8 kills.
