Princess Charlene of Monaco shines brightly and turns heads!

The Queen of Europe attended the opening ceremony of the 61st Monte Carlo Television Festival with her husband Prince Albert of Monaco on Friday night, where she gave a warm welcome to fans and celebrities alike.

The former Olympian made her first public outing since testing positive for COVID-19 and stood out on the blue carpet when she wore a striking emerald green Lanvin toga-style dress.

She accessorised the beautiful asymmetric gown with Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery, with a pair of long gold dangle earrings that perfectly showcased her blonde pixie hairstyle as a standout item in the collection.

On Thursday evening, the princess signaled the end of her COVID isolation, standing maskless alongside Prince Albert and her daughter Princess Gabriella on a palace balcony, where they watched the annual Corpus Christi procession. But Friday night marked her first chance to resume public appearances in public.

After returning to public activities in May and then having to cut her schedule due to COVID, the 44-year-old Queen appeared to welcome the opportunity to engage and interact with the public again.

The royal couple got out of their car and immediately plunged into the crowd gathered in front of the carpet. Charlene enjoyed a long session with fans and happily posed for selfies outside the Grimaldi forum.

One attendee smiled as she watched the princess enchant her fans. “She is back!” Princess Charlene was graciously obliged to take on selfie requests alongside stars including Oscar winner Danny Glover.

Criss-crossing the carpet, the royal couple seemed comfortable and relaxed together.

Before heading into the evening’s ceremonies, they stood for group photos and warmly greeted former festival-goers who have become friends, such as Neal McDonough, who chairs the festival’s judging panel this year, and Glover, 75.

The four-day festival, created by Prince Rainier, includes a series of world premieres and fan-friendly sessions featuring dozens of popular TV stars from past and current series. This year’s mix includes downtown abbeyby Joanne Froggatt, law & orderby Camryn Manheim, Beverly Hills 90210 Heartthrob Jason Priestly and David Hasselhoff.
