The 2022 Pan American Championships are complete and ready to go after teams have checked in. Athletes from the ten participating nations made their way to the Gimnasio Nuevo Leon Independiente to register before the start of the tournament.
There are sixty-eight entries in sixteen divisions, each round of action taking place over the next three days. Host country Mexico has brought the largest team with a total of twenty-eight entrants, followed by the United States, who have nine entrants in their first IMMAF appearance in the United States Fight League (USFL).
The final list of participating athletes is attached:

The Brazilian Giulliany Perea will play against Jimena Osorio from Uruguay. Perea enters this competition after a very successful start to the year after winning a silver medal at the 2021 World Flyweight Championships. She will be relegated a division for this tournament while her opponent Osorio will make her IMMAF debut.
Further down the list, Colombia’s Walter Plazas will be looking to kickstart his run for gold against Mexico’s Said Cruz Reyes. Plazas won silver at the 2019 Pan American Championships after falling short by decision in the finals. Opposite him, Reyes will aim to make a statement and open his IMMAF account in style by beating a former medalist.
