Regal is offering $2 children’s movie tickets this summer

If you’re looking for a fun and affordable activity, Regal has something for the whole family.

Regal announced its 2022 Regal Summer Movie Express series, with tickets featuring summer kids’ movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for just $2.

The company will present children’s favorites such as “Madagascar”, “Despicable Me” and “The Lego Movie”.

The theater says availability varies by location, so check participating theaters for schedules.

The cinema schedule runs until the end of August.

Free kids movies to stream

COVID-19 spikes may stop some families from going to the cineplex, but it shouldn’t stop them from great entertainment. The major streaming services offer options for all ages, but you don’t need a Netflix subscription (or someone else’s Netflix password) to make your own movie night. Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood (2021): Jon Lovitz A little mustache (metaphorically speaking) in this back-to-school comedy about a boy (Chase Brown) in an underfunded urban high school and his battle with his good-for-nothing, embezzling vice principal (Lovitz). “Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood” is a Tubi original. zapped (2014): Rising superstar Zendaya plays a “teenage girl struggling to adjust to her new stepfamily and school” whose life takes a turn “when a dog training app gives her the power to control boys.” Classification TV-G. 92 minutes. William Shatner’s A Twist in the Tale (1999): William Shatner weaves wild tales for a group of impressionable kids in this genre-bending series that features episodes about ghosts, time travel, wizards and more ghosts alongside everyday horrors like starting life in a new town – with ghosts. Rated TV PG. To you: Declan Eames. Also with Chelsie Preston Crayford, Emily Barclay, Claudia Black, Alistair Browning. 15 episodes.
