Seven players make up Phil Steele All-American teams

There are preseason college football magazines and then there are preseason college football magazines. Most would agree that Phil Steele annually puts out the king of CFB preseason magazines, and that’s because the research is top-notch and it’s full of interesting stats and tidbits you won’t find anywhere else.

In a nod to college football preparing for pre-season, and by extension Ohio State football, you can now find several preseason college football magazines at newsstands and grocery stores in your neighborhood. That includes the venerable page-turner Phil Steele.

We always check in with Steele to see what he has to say about the state of Ohio, and we’re doing the same this year. Our first stop is to see how many horse chestnuts he has on his All-American teams. As fate would have it, with so many dynamic players back in this year’s Buckeye roster, Steele has a whopping seven players scattered across his four All-American rosters.

And yes, we’re here to break it down for you. Here are all seven Ohio State players named in Phil Steele’s All-American teams for the 2022 college football season.
