Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi opens up about his upcoming Star Wars movie and jokes about ruining the franchise with Jar Jar Binks’ story.

While he hasn’t been able to discuss the details of his planned film, he recently joked that he was focusing on the prequel trilogy’s infamous Jar Jar Binks.

In an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Waititi was asked if he would ruin the franchise. He replied, “No, I’m not [going to ruin Star Wars]. No I’m not. What if I said yes, I’m going to tell you the story of Jar Jar Binks.”
