BRYAN COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Head Coach Joni Taylor announced Thursday the non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 season, which includes seven home games and five marquee matchups.
The Taylor era begins Nov. 10 at home against A&M-Corpus Christi, marking the second straight year the Aggies have opened the season against the Islanders.
A&M takes on Army for the first time in program history at home on November 13 before heading to Cameron Indoor Stadium on November 17 to face Duke, coached by Taylor’s colleague Kara Lawson, the assistant coach of the USA Women’s national team.
The Maroon & White host three in-state opponents in Texas Southern (Nov. 20), Texas State (Nov. 23) and Rice (Nov. 27) before heading out to face-off on November 30. Playing against Kansas at the Allen Fieldhouse on Nov.
The team returns to Aggieland on December 4 for a matchup against Morgan State and will face Little Rock for a ninth straight year on December 6 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Jack Stephens Center. Texas A&M is 12-2 all-time against Little Rock and has won seven straight games in the series.
Taylor and the Aggies cap their home game on December 18 in a non-conference game against SMU before heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Las Vegas Invitational with matchups against Dayton (December 20) and Purdue (December 21) .
Times for the non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date, as will dates for the 16-game conference list.
