Blackhawks will host the 2022 series Home Away From Home
PRESEASON GAME ON OCTOBER 2 IN MILWAUKEE PRESENTED BY BMO
The team’s full preseason roster includes two additional home games at the United Center;
Preseason tickets go on sale Friday, August 5 at 10am
The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the team’s full preseason schedule for the 2022-23 season, which includes a home game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the first time in nearly thirty years. The last time the Blackhawks played in Milwaukee was on December 1, 1992 against the Los Angeles Kings. The 2022 Home Away from Home series presented by BMO takes place on Sunday, October 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fiserv Forum against the Minnesota Wild. All preseason games go on sale this Friday, August 5 at 10:00 am
“We’re excited to bring the Blackhawks experience to our fans outside of Chicago, and we can’t think of a better place to start than our incredible neighbors to the north,” said Jaime Faulkner, president of business operations for the Chicago Blackhawks. “We’re working hard to create a game day that fans won’t want to miss as we’re the first NHL team to bring a game to the Fiserv Forum in partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks and BMO.”
Before the puck drops, there will be pre-game celebrations for fans at the Fiserv Forum Entertainment Plaza and in the Deer District, which will include performances by Blackhawks celebrities, live music, photo opportunities and more. Gates open at 5pm, activities in the Deer District start at 3pm

COMPLETE PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE
Training camp for the Chicago Blackhawks begins Wednesday, September 21 at Fifth Third Arena and all practices are expected to be open to the general public. A more detailed training schedule will be posted on Blackhawks.com at a later date.
During the training camp, the team will play a total of six preparatory games (below, all times middle). In addition to the contest in Milwaukee, two home games will be held at the United Center.
- Tuesday, September 27 – St. Louis in Chicago at 7:30 p.m. (United Center)
- Wednesday, September 28 – Chicago in Detroit at 7:30 p.m
- Saturday, October 1 – Detroit in Chicago at 7:30 p.m. (United Center)
- Sunday, October 2 – Minnesota in Chicago at 6:30 p.m. (Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee)
- Thursday, October 6 – Chicago in Minnesota at 7 p.m
- Saturday, October 8 – Chicago in St. Louis at 7 p.m
At both preseason home games at the United Center, fans with tickets will be able to enjoy a pre-game Oktoberfest Celebration in the United Center Atrium. Presented by Goose Island, the first 1,000 fans to enter the atrium each night will receive a complimentary mug of beer, and drinks will be offered at half price during happy hour from 5-6 p.m. before the United Center gates open at 6 p.m
