The FOX Fall TV Guide includes six new programs

According to Charlie Collier, CEO of FOX Entertainment, the 2022-2023 lineup for FOX will include six new programs. These additions include three new dramas, two new animated comedies, and one new unscripted series. The network hasn’t announced when the new shows will launch or what the fall lineup will be.

One of the new dramas starting this fall is Monarch. The country music drama, starring Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins and Anna Friel, was originally scheduled to air FOX earlier this year but has been postponed.

Other new dramas include crime series Accused and missing persons drama Alert.

“Monarch” is a multi-generational musical drama about America’s first country music family. The Romans are led by the insanely talented but badass Queen of Country Music Dottie Cantrell Roman (Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon, “Feud”, “Thelma & Louise”) and her beloved husband, “Texas Truthteller” Albie Roman (Trace Adkins). . Although the Roman name is synonymous with authenticity, the basis of their success is a lie.

Accused is based on the BBC’s BAFTA-winning British crime anthology. Each episode begins in a courtroom over the accused, with viewers unaware of their crime or how they ended up in court. The story is told from the defendant’s point of view in flashbacks. Emmy and Golden Globe winner Michael Chiklis (“The Shield”) guest stars in the premiere episode.

“Alert” is a police procedure about the Missing Persons Unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. When police officer Nikki Parker’s son goes missing, she joins the LAPD’s missing persons unit to help other people find loved ones while she searches for her own. Six years later, her world is turned upside down when her ex-husband, Devon Zoellner, shows up with a photo evidence of their missing boy’s life. Or is it?

FOX continues to focus on primetime animation since “Grimsburg,” starring and executive produced by Jon Hamm, and “Krapopolis,” from Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon, starring Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, and Matt Berry to be added. They join the animated family of The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, The Great North, and Housebroken.

FOX is doubling down on Gordon Ramsay’s unscripted series, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, which will follow the award-winning chef’s all-new quest for the next great food and beverage entrepreneur.

The new seasons of Fantasy Island and LEGO Masters, previously announced as part of the FOX summer lineup, will now be part of the 2022-2023 season.

To make room for the six new shows, FOX executives canceled The Big Leap, Our Kind of People and Pivoting.

Recurring FOX series include: the dramas “9-1-1: Lone Star” (Season 4) and “The Cleaning Lady” (Season 2); comedies “Call Me Kat” (Season 3) and “Welcome to Flatch” (Season 2); animated series The Simpsons (Season 34), Family Guy (Season 20), Bob’s Burgers (Season 13), The Great North (Season 3), and Housebroken (Season 2); and unscripted series “The Masked Singer” (season 8), “Crime Scene Kitchen” (season 2) and “Hell’s Kitchen”.
