The Los Angeles Chargers announce the 2022 training camp schedule

The Los Angeles Chargers today announced practice dates that will be open to the public as part of the team’s 2022 training camp schedule. The 2022 Chargers Training Camp open practice, which will again be held at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, California, will be free.

As in previous years, fans must pre-register for their free tickets. Visit chargers.com/camp for more information on availability and access. All covered seating and observation spots will be available subject to availability.

The Chargers are reporting for camp the week of July 25 and will welcome fans back to the Jack Hammett Sports Complex on Wednesday, July 27 for the team’s first practice at training camp. The ramp-up exercises on Thursday 28th July and Friday 29th July are also open to the public. All public-facing dates for 2022 prioritize opening week, weekend practice, and any practice where players are scheduled to be in full pads (full-pad practice is subject to change).

The Bolts celebrate the first weekend of training camp NFL training camp: Saturday back together on July 30 with highlights including a special giveaway for fans in attendance and live expert commentary on training from members of the Chargers radio station team.

After a day off, the team’s first training session will take place in full cushions at the training camp on Monday 1st August. Scheduled full pad practices will continue on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 in preparation for the Chargers intrasquad scrimmage, which will take place at 5:00 p.m Sunday night soccer Timeslot on Sunday, August 7th at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex.

The Chargers’ final two open practices of training camp are scheduled to take place in full pads on Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11 before the Rams play their preseason opener at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, August 13 will.

The Bolts will continue to practice together during training camp – this year welcoming the Dallas Cowboys to Costa Mesa before the two teams meet at SoFi Stadium later in the week. The Chargers and Cowboys will practice at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex on Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18, with both practices open exclusively to Chargers season-ticketed members. As in previous years, training camp at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex will offer fans of all ages the opportunity to watch the Bolts practice in person and cheer on their favorite players close to the field. Grandstand seats are fully covered and, as previously mentioned, are available on a first come, first served basis. Spectator seats are also available again in front of the grandstands on the fence line.

In addition to the tour of training, fans attending training camp will have access to a full-scale merchandise and apparel tent stocked with the latest Chargers gear and exclusive items not available online through equipment room at SoFi Stadium, interactive fan zones and games, Chargers-themed photo opportunities, a special “Cool Zone” area for hot summer days, live performances by the Thunderbolts drumline, and the ability to interact with a specific positional group of players on the fence. line at the end of the exercise. The gates to the Jack Hammett Sports Complex will open one hour prior to the start of each training session. Parking is available at both Orange Coast College (2701 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 – Fairview and Monitor Way exit) and Costa Mesa High School (2650 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 – Fairview and Pirate Way exit). Available first come, first served for $10. There will also be a dedicated carpool drop-off and pickup location next to the Jack Hammett Sports Complex.

Fans may bring their own food, water and soft drinks, however alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the Jack Hammett Sports Complex at any time. Smoking is not permitted at Chargers Training Camp.

Fans are welcome to bring personal cameras and cell phones, but video cameras and telephoto lenses longer than 15 cm (detachable or non-detachable) are not allowed. Other items not permitted in the Jack Hammett Sports Complex are: pets (except service animals), weapons of any kind, chains, stun guns, mace and pepper spray, squirt guns, boomerangs, fireworks, frisbees, sports balls, beach balls or other inflatable items, Laser pointers, flammable objects, musical instruments, or devices that produce noise.
