TV program of the Uruguayan national team

The Uruguay national team’s television schedule shows every game played by the team that bears two World Cup trophies to its name.

Often overshadowed by Brazil and Argentina, Uruguay has the honor of being the first nation to ever win the World Cup. In 1930, Uruguay, as the host country of the inaugural tournament, defeated Argentina in Montevideo and won the World Cup.

Throughout its history, some of the greatest players in the game have played for Uruguay. These include players like Luis Suarez, Diego Forlán and Diego Godín. More historically, Juan Alberto Schiaffino scored in the 1950 World Cup final and Hector Scarone was a long-time top scorer for Uruguay.

Besides the two World Cups, Uruguay has the most Copa America wins in history. Both the Celeste and Argentina claim 15 tournament wins.

Uruguay TV Guide and Streaming Links

For viewers in the United States, fuboTV is the place to be to watch all matches including Uruguay.

Since FOX Sports owns the rights to both the FIFA World Cup and Copa America, many Uruguay matches can be seen on FOX, FS1 or FS2. In the case of friendlies, those games can go on any channel, including something from ESPN or CBS. Luckily, fuboTV carries these too.

However, the reason we prefer fuboTV over any other provider is the location of the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying. In the United States, the World Cup qualifier from South America is exclusive to fuboTV. The service is the sole provider of each nation’s 18-game round-robin game. In addition, fuboTV broadcasts all FOX and ESPN channels. So don’t miss a game.
