It’s a different kind of bull race this weekend in Spain.
Max Verstappen and Red Bull appear to be heating up after some early-season issues doomed the defending champion’s car. Now Verstappen has won three of the last four GPs and took home a very, very easy win at the inaugural Miami GP.

En route to Spain, Formula 1 has only seen two different race winners this year: Charles Leclerc has taken the checkered flag twice, while Verstappen has been on the top step of the podium three times.
Yes, you read that right: Mercedes is still looking for its first win of the year. George Russell put in an outstanding performance at Miami, having started 12th, finished fifth and passed Lewis Hamilton, who started sixth and finished right there.
Strange things have been happening, but this year’s title fight could still turn into a three-way battle.

Formula 1 schedule 2022
With 22 events scheduled for 2022 on the F1 calendar, one race is close to reaching the mark for longest F1 calendar.
The season kicked off in Bahrain on March 20 and will conclude with the usual Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, albeit a little earlier than usual, in November. If the schedule is in place, this will be the earliest end of the Formula 1 season since it ended on November 4, 2013.
Returning to the 2022 F1 roster are the Canadian and Japanese Grands Prix, both canceled in 2021 due to the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
The calendar also holds the maiden voyage for the Miami Grand Prix, the first of two races in the United States in 2022, with the usual United States GP taking place in October.
Originally scheduled for September 25, the Russian Grand Prix has been canceled due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
