When does the NASCAR race start today? TV schedule, channel for Federated Auto Parts 400

Crunch time is approaching in the NASCAR Cup Series.

With just three races left in the regular season, those close to a playoff spot are under pressure.

Kevin Harvick proved last weekend in Michigan that there is still hope for those who look outside in. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver took the checkered flag in his #4 Mustang to keep his hopes alive for another piece of Cup Series hardware.

Now Harvick can breathe easier. Unlike Martin Truex Jr., Bubba Wallace or Aric Almirola, all of whom only just managed to secure a place in the postseason.

Truex is buoyed by his previous successes at Richmond Raceway, the venue for this week’s race. He has seven straight top-five finishes on the short track, including two wins in 2019. Another strong performance this weekend would cement his place in the playoffs and show that the 2017 Cup Series champ is more than just a has a little gas in the tank.

Here’s everything you need to know about this week’s Cup Series race, the Federated Auto Parts 400, including start time and broadcast info.
